A focused workshop on initiation, planning, and working memory — how they look at home and what to try first.

About this session
Executive function skills are often invisible until they’re not — especially for kids whose brains work differently. This workshop translates initiation, planning, and working memory into everyday moments parents recognize.
You’ll learn how to scaffold without micromanaging, when to lower demands, and how to build routines that support follow-through without constant conflict.
Expect concrete examples, a few go-to scripts, and time to relate the frameworks to your own child and household.

I'm a licensed pediatric occupational therapist with passion for working on regulation skills. My journey began with teaching English in France and working as a nanny, and has taken me through yoga teacher training, training in teaching yoga and mindfulness to kids, and graduate school in occupational therapy. My graduate research focused on the benefits for school-based yoga programs for kids with developmental delays and executive functioning challenges. View full profile
