We do not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary compensation.

Aggregate & De-identified Information

We may use, disclose, and process aggregate and de-identified information — data that is no longer reasonably linked to an identified individual — for quality control, analytics, research, development, and other business purposes. Where we process de-identified data, we maintain and use it in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it, except as necessary to assess the adequacy of our de-identification processes under applicable law.

Dawn AI & Your Clinical Profile

Dawn by Kinspire

Dawn is Kinspire's AI-powered Clinical Profile — the engine that learns your family over time. This section explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with Dawn specifically.

(a) What Dawn Collects

Dawn builds your family's Clinical Profile through three sources of input:

  • Clinical assessments — conversations and structured intake that build an understanding of your child's profile, needs, and strengths.
  • Your conversations with Dawn — the questions you ask, challenges you describe, and reflections you share in chat.
  • Live session insights — relevant information shared during Support Groups, Workshops, Office Hours, and Coaching Sessions that adds to your Clinical Profile over time.

(b) How We Use Dawn Data

Information collected through Dawn is used to:

  • Build and continuously update your family's personalized Clinical Profile
  • Generate tailored strategies, insights, and article recommendations
  • Help your Kinspire clinician see the full picture before a Coaching Session
  • Improve Dawn's underlying AI models and Clinical Profile accuracy — exclusively for the purpose of making the Service better for you and other families
  • Conduct research and analysis to develop new features and improve family outcomes

Dawn Is Not a Medical Record

Your Dawn Clinical Profile is not a medical record and is not governed by HIPAA. Information in your Clinical Profile is used for educational and coaching support purposes only — not for clinical diagnosis, treatment, or any licensed healthcare purpose. See our Terms of Use for full disclaimers.

(c) AI Training & Data Use

By using Dawn, you acknowledge and agree that Kinspire may use your interactions with Dawn — including conversation content, reflections, and profile data — to train and improve the underlying AI models and Clinical Profile engine. This use is exclusively for improving Kinspire's Services. All such use is governed by this Policy. We may transfer, store, and process data outside your region in accordance with applicable law.

(d) Deleting Your Clinical Profile

You may request deletion of your Clinical Profile and associated Dawn interaction history by contacting us at privacy@kinspireapp.com. Note that deletion of your Clinical Profile may affect the personalization and quality of your experience. Some de-identified data derived from your interactions may be retained for model improvement purposes even after deletion, as permitted by applicable law.

Cookies & Tracking

We and our service providers use cookies, pixel tags, local storage objects, log files, and other similar technologies to automatically collect information about your browsing, activity, device, and interactions within our Services. We use this information to analyze and understand how members use the Services, identify and resolve bugs, assess and improve performance, and target advertising and content.

Types of Tracking Technologies

  • Cookies. Alphanumeric identifiers stored on your device. We use session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain until deleted). You can set your browser to block or notify you about cookies, but this may affect Service functionality.
  • Pixel tags (web beacons). Tiny graphics embedded in pages or emails to track activity, count visits, measure campaign effectiveness, and tell us when emails have been opened.
  • Local storage. A mechanism allowing us to cache certain data to enable faster page loading and associate your activity with your profile.
  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to evaluate usage of our Services. To opt out, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. See Google's Privacy Policy for more.
  • Google Firebase. We use Firebase for app authentication, analytics, push notifications, and crash reporting. See Firebase Privacy & Security for more.
  • Cross-device tracking. We and our partners may use information collected about you to identify other devices you use to interact with the Services.
  • Advertising. We work with advertising and marketing partners to personalize content and ads. These partners may use cookies and tracking tools to collect browsing data and serve you relevant content on Kinspire and other sites.

Do Not Track. We do not currently respond to browser-based "Do Not Track" signals. However, see Section 8 for other opt-out options, including Global Privacy Control.

Your Privacy Choices

We make available several ways to manage your personal information and preferences:

  • Account information. You may review and update your account information by logging in and visiting your account settings, or by emailing us at privacy@kinspireapp.com.
  • Cookie settings. You can set your browser to block or alert you about cookies, or delete cookies at any time. Blocking cookies may affect some Service features. You may also adjust your tracking preferences in our cookie preference manager.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC). Our website responds to GPC signals. If we detect your browser is sending a GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of "sales" and "sharing" via cookies and tracking tools on our Site. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
  • Ad choice programs. U.S. residents can opt out of targeted ads from participating companies at aboutads.info/choices (Digital Advertising Alliance). You may also download the DAA AppChoices tool for mobile devices.
  • Marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email we send. We may still send transactional and account-related emails.
  • Text messages. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message we send.
  • Push notifications. You can disable push notifications in your device's settings.
  • Dawn Clinical Profile. See Section 6(d) for information on requesting deletion of your Clinical Profile.

Children's Information

Kinspire's Services are designed for parents and caregivers (adults) — not for children to use directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. We do, however, collect information about children (such as developmental history, diagnoses, and behaviors) when provided by a parent or caregiver in connection with using the Services. This information is used solely to personalize your family's experience and improve outcomes for your child.

We do not collect personal information from children under 16 without verifiable parental consent. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information directly in violation of applicable law, we will delete it. If you believe your child's information has been collected inappropriately, contact us at privacy@kinspireapp.com.

Security

We implement safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Our infrastructure is hosted by Google Cloud; you can review their security practices at cloud.google.com/terms/cloud-privacy-notice.

Despite our efforts, no security measure is perfect or fully impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information. If you have reason to believe your account or personal information has been compromised, please contact us at privacy@kinspireapp.com.

Retention

Kinspire retains personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Specifically:

  • We retain account information for as long as you have an active account with us.
  • We retain transaction records as required for tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
  • We retain information related to Dawn conversations and your Clinical Profile for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support continuity of service.
  • We retain information as necessary to establish, defend, or protect our legal rights, defend against claims, and comply with legal obligations.

You may request deletion of your personal information as described in Section 8 and the state-specific sections below.

Changes to This Policy

We review and update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we update it, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. If we make any changes that materially affect how we use your personal information, we will notify you — for example, by posting a prominent notice on our Services or sending you an email.
