Where we process de-identified data, we maintain and use it in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it, except as necessary to assess the adequacy of our de-identification processes under applicable law.
Dawn AI & Your Clinical Profile
Dawn by Kinspire
Dawn is Kinspire's AI-powered Clinical Profile — the engine that learns your family over time. This section explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with Dawn specifically.
(a) What Dawn Collects
Dawn builds your family's Clinical Profile through three sources of input:
- Clinical assessments — conversations and structured intake that build an understanding of your child's profile, needs, and strengths.
- Your conversations with Dawn — the questions you ask, challenges you describe, and reflections you share in chat.
- Live session insights — relevant information shared during Support Groups, Workshops, Office Hours, and Coaching Sessions that adds to your Clinical Profile over time.
(b) How We Use Dawn Data
Information collected through Dawn is used to:
- Build and continuously update your family's personalized Clinical Profile
- Generate tailored strategies, insights, and article recommendations
- Help your Kinspire clinician see the full picture before a Coaching Session
- Improve Dawn's underlying AI models and Clinical Profile accuracy — exclusively for the purpose of making the Service better for you and other families
- Conduct research and analysis to develop new features and improve family outcomes
Dawn Is Not a Medical Record
Your Dawn Clinical Profile is not a medical record and is not governed by HIPAA. Information in your Clinical Profile is used for educational and coaching support purposes only — not for clinical diagnosis, treatment, or any licensed healthcare purpose. See our Terms of Use for full disclaimers.
(c) AI Training & Data Use
By using Dawn, you acknowledge and agree that Kinspire may use your interactions with Dawn — including conversation content, reflections, and profile data — to train and improve the underlying AI models and Clinical Profile engine. This use is exclusively for improving Kinspire's Services. All such use is governed by this Policy. We may transfer, store, and process data outside your region in accordance with applicable law.
(d) Deleting Your Clinical Profile
You may request deletion of your Clinical Profile and associated Dawn interaction history by contacting us at privacy@kinspireapp.com. Note that deletion of your Clinical Profile may affect the personalization and quality of your experience. Some de-identified data derived from your interactions may be retained for model improvement purposes even after deletion, as permitted by applicable law.
Your Privacy Choices
We make available several ways to manage your personal information and preferences:
- Account information. You may review and update your account information by logging in and visiting your account settings, or by emailing us at privacy@kinspireapp.com.

Children's Information
Kinspire's Services are designed for parents and caregivers (adults) — not for children to use directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. We do, however, collect information about children (such as developmental history, diagnoses, and behaviors) when provided by a parent or caregiver in connection with using the Services. This information is used solely to personalize your family's experience and improve outcomes for your child.
We do not collect personal information from children under 16 without verifiable parental consent. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information directly in violation of applicable law, we will delete it. If you believe your child's information has been collected inappropriately, contact us at privacy@kinspireapp.com.
External Links & Features
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or features not operated by Kinspire. This Policy does not apply to those external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing any personal information. Once you leave our Services, we have no control over how your information is handled.
We may also maintain pages on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.). When you interact with those pages, the platform's own privacy policy applies to their collection and use of your information.
Security
We implement safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Our infrastructure is hosted by Google Cloud; you can review their security practices at cloud.google.com/terms/cloud-privacy-notice.
Despite our efforts, no security measure is perfect or fully impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information. If you have reason to believe your account or personal information has been compromised, please contact us at privacy@kinspireapp.com.
Retention
Kinspire retains personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Specifically:
- We retain account information for as long as you have an active account with us.
- We retain transaction records as required for tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
- We retain information related to Dawn conversations and your Clinical Profile for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support continuity of service.
- We retain information as necessary to establish, defend, or protect our legal rights, defend against claims, and comply with legal obligations.
You may request deletion of your personal information as described in Section 8 and the state-specific sections below.
