About Jill

I'm a licensed, board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with 25 years of experience, but honestly, supporting outside-the-box children has never felt like "work" to me. As a pediatric neuropsychologist, I've focused on children with neurodevelopmental differences, including ADHD, since graduate school. My research interest in neurodevelopmental differences carried me through a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Brown University.

But research could only take me so far. I wanted to work more closely with the families actually living these experiences. So, I made the move to clinical practice and never looked back. I spent a couple of years conducting neuropsychological evaluations before also stepping into the role of director of a multidisciplinary clinic, which I led for almost 15 years. Our focus was the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with ADHD, Autism, learning differences like Dyslexia, and communication challenges.

It was there that something clicked for me. Kids were receiving excellent care from skilled professionals and then going home to parents who hadn't been given the knowledge or tools to carry that work into daily life. So, we updated the model. Parents became central to everything we did, not an afterthought. If you'd asked me back then what made our clinic work, I would have told you without hesitation: the parents. That belief has never left me.

When I first connected with Kinspire as a member of their scientific advisory board, I immediately felt the same conviction: parents are the key. Their mission of empowering parents to support their outside-the-box children is exactly where I want to be. I joined the team as Chief Neuropsychologist, focused on building the parenting program and partnering with our incredible team to help children and families truly thrive together.

Outside of helping families

Other interests.

Outside of work, I love to spend time with family and friends. Whether it's hiking in the mountains of my beautiful state of Colorado, catching live music, or exploring somewhere new, I'm always up for an adventure. But you're just as likely to find me enjoying the quieter side of life, perhaps on a stroll with our sweet dog, engrossed in a good book, or puttering around in the garden.

When we help families understand the 'why' behind a child's behavior, everything starts to shift.
