About Ariel

I am a licensed pediatric occupational therapist with over 13 years of experience, having worked in a diverse array of settings. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with clients of all ages, spanning various environments including schools, outpatient pediatrics, outpatient hands, the Army, mental health facilities, telehealth, and geriatric rehab settings. I earned my Doctorate of Science in Occupational Therapy through Baylor University and the U.S. Army, gaining invaluable insights into an array of therapy techniques, approaches, and interactions.

My journey has led me to discover a deep passion for working with children, where I strive to support and enhance their performance in areas such as sensory processing, visual and motor development, play, social skills, and daily functioning. As a pediatric occupational therapist, I firmly believe in the crucial role of childhood play in learning and skill development, particularly when it involves outdoor exploration.

One aspect I particularly appreciate about the Kinspire approach is the opportunity it provides to connect with children and their families, thus making the rehabilitation process a community effort. I have witnessed significant growth in the children I work with through this approach, and the collaboration with families has played a pivotal role in Kinspire's success.

Outside of helping families

Other interests.

In my free time, I relish being outdoors, often venturing into the woods around my home for activities like hiking, running, biking, snowshoeing, and snowboarding. Most importantly, I cherish the moments spent playing and exploring with my two children. My love for travel is a constant, offering opportunities to meet new people and delve into their interests. In addition to my outdoor pursuits, I find joy in creative activities like sewing and painting, as well as the tranquility of reading. I am also engaged in the ongoing process of learning to play the violin.

Kinspire allows me the opportunity to connect with and support the success and growth of both the child and their family. I have seen quicker and greater success in the child's development through this approach.
