About Kendra

I am a registered and licensed pediatric occupational therapist with diverse experience spanning over 6 years. During my career, I have worked in hospital, outpatient, school, telehealth, and early intervention settings. I have begun my journey of becoming certified in DIR/Floortime, which has changed my entire perspective on connecting with and treating clients. I am also in the process of becoming certified as an executive functions consultant. In addition to these certifications, I have completed continuing education in PDA, sensory integration, postural control, pediatric pelvic floor, nervous system regulation, and emotional regulation.

My mission is to teach every family how to connect with their child at the deepest levels. Connection and relationships are foundational to our sense of belonging, and it can be really damaging if we lack that with our children. I want to help everyone experience their most wholehearted selves. I am passionate about advocacy and empowerment for the neurodiverse community. I have personal and professional experience finding success while navigating neurodiversity. I strongly believe that our individual differences are a gift, and I strive to provide that insight to my clients.

Outside of helping families

Other interests.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending most of my time outdoors. I live on the coast so I spend a lot of time at the beach, kayaking and swimming. My favorite outdoor activity is soccer; it's been my love since I was 5 years old. When I am not outside, I enjoy traveling and learning through podcasts, TED Talks, and audiobooks. I have many interests, so I am usually engaged in 3-4 audiobooks simultaneously.

Kinspire has given me a platform to support my clients in every aspect of their lives.
