About Renalani

I am Renalani Moodley, OTR/L, an Occupational Therapist with nearly 22 years of experience in diverse clinical settings, supporting individuals with a variety of neurotypes, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science (Occupational Therapy) and a Master's Degree in Health Practice (Rehabilitation) from Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand. In addition to my clinical work, I have served as an OTA adjunct faculty member at Stanbridge University in Irvine, CA, and as the OTA Academic Fieldwork Coordinator at Pima Medical Institute in Las Vegas, NV.

As a Certified ADHD Rehab Service Provider and ASD Clinical Specialist, I have dedicated my career to understanding the unique strengths and challenges of individuals with ADHD and ASD. I am also an Approved PDA North America provider with Level 2 Advanced Training in Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) through Think:Kids, and I am completing my Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI) certification with CLASI. My training and experience equip me to offer families a comprehensive, neurodiversity-affirming approach, fostering understanding, skills, and strategies that support their child's development.

In my work with families, I guide parents through the complexities of ASD and ADHD, helping them navigate their child's unique sensory, social, and emotional needs. I provide therapeutic strategies that are individualized to each child and offer practical support to address challenges in academic, social, and family settings. My approach prioritizes sensory integration, emotional regulation, and executive functioning skills, empowering parents to feel confident in advocating for and supporting their child.

My personal experience as a mom to my wonderful neurodivergent son, born in 2016, has given me a unique perspective and deep empathy for the journey of raising a neurodivergent child. I understand the impact of parenting a child with ASD and/or ADHD in a world often geared toward neurotypical expectations, and I am passionate about providing the tools families need to build a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Outside of helping families

Other interests.

Outside of work, my family is where I find my peace and happiness. We love traveling and exploring and hanging out together — from theme parks to the beach, which is truly our happy place. I love cooking and entertaining and hanging out with family and friends.

Working at Kinspire Health allows me to truly make a difference in the lives of families. I love being part of a team that's dedicated to providing the resources, guidance, and support families need to navigate challenges and celebrate successes. It's rewarding to empower parents and children, helping them build resilience and strengthen connections. Every day here is an opportunity to make a positive impact, and that's what makes this work so meaningful.
