About this session
Twice-exceptional kids — those who are both gifted and have learning or developmental differences — are one of the most under-served and misunderstood groups in parenting. The gap between what they seem capable of and what they can produce is exhausting for everyone involved. Standard gifted programs don't fit. Standard support programs don't fit either. And finding parents who truly get the specific tension of raising a 2e kid? That's rare.
This support group, led by Lily Baiser, MS, OTR/L and Jill Gitten Aloia, PhD, ABPP-CN, is a space for parents raising 2e kids to talk openly about that tension — the giftedness that gets overlooked, the differences that get underestimated, and the daily work of advocating for a child who doesn't fit neatly into any box. Share what's been relentless, share what's finally clicking, and hear from parents who are navigating the same impossible balance. Our clinicians bring the insight to help you understand what's happening and build on what's already working.
Your child contains multitudes. This is a space that honors that.

I'm a licensed pediatric occupational therapist, co-founder, and Chief Clinical Officer of Kinspire, and for nearly two decades, I've been driven by one question: why is it still so hard for families to get support that actually works? View full profile

I'm a licensed, board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with 25 years of experience, but honestly, supporting outside-the-box children has never felt like "work" to me. As a pediatric neuropsychologist, I've focused on children with neurodevelopmental differences, including ADHD, since graduate school. My research interest in neurodevelopmental differences carried me through a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Brown University. View full profile
